Changing bolt plates.

If the cabinets, the copper and the cables are still in good condition, it may be advantageous to only replace the switchgear. Using bolt plates or mounting plates has the big advantage that these can be prefabricated in our control panel workshop. In this way the downtime is kept to a minimum during the conversion.

Replacing large clusters or arrays of cabinets with new LV distributing boards may give rise to the customary practical and technical problems. Rectifying these problems may take a long time and that’s something we don’t always have... In such cases, the Client may decide to replace only the switchgear.

If it’s possible to fasten the new material to a circuit board, then a lot of the preparatory work can be done in the workshop. Installing this board in the cabinet and connecting it to the rest can be done in a limited period of time.
